2013 Emmys Makeup: Elisabeth Moss

Sabrina Bedrani created Elisabeth Moss‘ retro-pretty makeup look centering around a tomato-red lip at the Emmys last night. Here, the beauty breakdown, courtesy of Sabrina.  “Generally speaking my inspiration usually comes mostly from the dress, but for Elizabeth today it really came from a combination of what she wore and her own personal style– the way the dress fit her and her blond funky hair. Her beautiful black and white dress called for a glamorous, sophisticated look but I also wanted to make sure it had a young, fresh feeling… so that’s why I opted for an orangey-red lip, using Rouge Dior in “Tralfagar” to bring a modern element to her total look. Even though the attention is obviously on her lip I also wanted to bring out her eyes, and used the shades in Dior’s 5-Couleur Palette in “Stylish Move,”  dusting lightly all over the lid.
